Cepro Gazelle Welding Screens 200 cm – Lightweight, Portable Welding Safety Barriers

The Cepro Gazelle Welding Screens 200 cm is a lightweight, portable welding screen featuring a dark green, non-transparent welding curtain designed to protect operators and bystanders from the hazards of welding. These high quality screens shield against arc light, UV radiation, sparks, and molten slag, creating a safe barrier around your welding area. Ideal for workshops, garages, and flexible indoor welding setups.

Each screen features a sturdy, zinc-plated steel frame built from longitudinal welded carbon steel tubes (25 mm). Weighing just 8.5 kg per unit, each screen can be easily moved and positioned by a single operator, making it perfect for flexible workshop setups. The EN ISO 25980 certified PVC curtain blocks harmful welding arcs.

With dimensions of 1972 mm high × 2002 mm wide, each Gazelle screen provides standing coverage for MIG, TIG, and stick welding. Their freely movable design and wide 600 mm steel feet ensure stability on flat indoor surfaces, making them ideal for temporary welding bays and workshop safety partitions.

Why use a Welding Screen?

A welding screen is a critical safety tool in any welding environment. Anyone carrying out welding must be protected from hazards such as the intense arc light, UV radiation, sparks, and molten spatter. Welders typically wear a welding helmet, along with flame-retardant gloves and protective clothing, to safeguard themselves.

To protect others in the same space, a welding screen or curtain is essential. Red or amber screens are the most popular, as their semi-transparent material allows supervision of the welder while blocking harmful UV light. In addition to filtering UV, the screen protects bystanders from sparks and spatter, creating a controlled, safe workspace and reducing the risk of injury or accidents. Using a certified welding screen is a simple but highly effective way to ensure workplace safety and comply with welding safety standards.
